FAITH TECHNIQUES
"We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him."Romans 8:28
In my many years of ministry, people have shared with me some faith techniques that have worked to keep their focus on God instead of theirproblems.
One sweet elderly lady told me of what she did to overcome a life long habit of worry. Every time she started to worry she would write that worry down and place it in her SFGTD box. I asked her what SFGTD stood for, and she smiled and replied "Something for God to Do" Box. I've never forgotten that lesson.
One strong businessman, who you would think would be fearless to look at him, told me how he overcame his overwhelming personal shyness and fear.
When he had something to face that was scaring him, like a meeting before the Board of Directors or having to speak in public, he would put his handin his pocket and focus his attention on holding God's hand. He told me that he could walk into any situation and face any crowd as long as heknew that he was holding God's hand. He still does this to this day.
One young woman overcame her feelings of inferior self-worth by focusing her imagination in the exact opposite way from what she used to think.Thoughts used to overwhelm her that people would not like her or want her.
She began to imagine before she entered a room, a party, or the office --that she was wanted and loved there. Before she touched the door knob, she would think about how wanted she was in the room that she was entering into and how much the people wanted to love her. She said that are thought alone changed her life. Her thoughts became a self-fulfilled prophecy. We get what we suppose that we’re going to get.
One businesswoman who by her own definition said, "I have more problems than business!" She began to "Golden Key" her problems. Every time she thought of a problem she would think about God instead. This so liberated her from her problems that her creativity started to rise and soon she found herself without any problems to worry about.
A young stage actor wanting to make his mark as an actor, took the thoughtof Jesus literally in his life. Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." He asked himself sincerely, “If I am the light of the world, what watt bulb am I?” He had to admit that many times on stage he had just been a 20 watt bulb, other times a 40, other times a 60, and, on rare times, an80. He strived to be a star with a hundred watt brightness shining forthfrom him at all times. He prayed a 100 watt prayer. Every time before he went on stage he would ask himself, “What watt am I?” He would raise the light intensity coming from him with God's help. It made all the difference in the world and helped to make him a huge success.
Perhaps you too can use some of these faith techniques or invent your ownto remember that God is with you every moment of every day.

"A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance.” Proverbs 15:13
And I have always enjoyed the country music singer Roger Miller. He oncesaid something that I thought was profound, "Some people walk in the rain.Others just get wet."
Someone once asked Pete Rose when he was in his 40s and still playingprofessional baseball whether or not the legs are the first thing thatgoes in professional baseball. He responded by declaring, “It was not thelegs, but rather the inner desire and the gratitude of being there, thatis the first to go.”
Attitude is everything. The happiest people that I have ever known havebeen thankful for everything constantly. They were aware of the good intheir lives. They praised their life and the people in their life.
An attitude of gratitude is something you can train yourself to have. Itis a learned response, and habit that a human being can acquire, just asan attitude of cynicism, or an attitude of criticism, is a learnedresponse to life. Pessimism practiced produces a negative life. Anattitude of gratitude practiced produces a positive life.
Start to become aware of the good around you, search for the good and givethanks to God for it. Live your life in gratitude. Practice beinggrateful today. The highest form of prayer is thankfulness. To look atsomething with eyes of wonder, and sincerely say, “Thank You God” is thehighest form of prayer you can offer.
As you focus on the good in your life, your thoughts will begin to dwellon the good and your well-being will be uplifted. Next, you praise yourlife, and the people in it, and you praise yourself by looking for thegood in yourself, instead of constantly seeing the bad.
God gave you life, for you to enjoy, and make the most of. It does not doyou, or any one else, any good to constantly focus on the negative andcomplain.
There is a Divine goodness at the root of all existence. Today you seethis Divine goodness all around you. It is there for the seeking. Youare optimistic about your life; you have faith in the future; you havefaith in the Spirit of God at work to help all people everywhere. Youkeep in mind that God is guiding and blessing all creation. Youcontribute to the general good by your positive loving thoughts, feelings, actions and reactions.
In Job 37:14 our Bible states, "Stop and consider the wondrous works ofGod."
Everywhere you look, you see the goodness of God. You see it in allpeople and in all the experiences of your life today.
God Bless You! Make it a GREAT day!

A year ago my husband and I went to a mind, Body, spirit expo. We really had never been to one before but thought why the heck not? It was cool! now keep in mind there was some freaky stuff like people who would tell you who your Spirit guide was and who your animal guide was..we pretty much stayed away from that stuff..i know who my spirit guide is. I did get my aura picture taken (the energy field around the body) mine was complete violet with some white at the crown..okay...i always knew i was a little unique...The guys mouth dropped who took the picture and he said "Do you do readings"? although i have always in the charismatic churches that i have gone to through the years been recognized as prophetically gifted...this was so cool because God was so in this aura picture thing...I then had members of my family and i read the book "Life Colors" by Pamela olsby about aura colors ...The book so much was right on, my Husband is a blue aura, my son a yellow, my girlfriend yellow and there aura much fit their character. I think Church's should have aura cameras...and classes on the meanings of their auras to help aid most church so that they would not be so black and white...to not die a copy ...to be an original...to dive into all the beautiful creative colors of the rainbow....like yeah, like God created the rainbow, right? Elohim is pretty creative, why not his people?
